best ways to get to Comoros is trough Kenya or Tanzania. not that many companies operate there.
to get around the Grand Comoros there is some taxis and couple tour companies. Adore Comoros seem to the best one.
From Grande Comoros to Móheli you can get with a local boat (30e + 10e tourist fee), by plane 120e or with a laka lodge boat (price depends on how many quests are coming or going).
we had a good weather so local boat took 1h 40min to cross the sea. if you have some psychical problems i dont recommend public boat. its just a fishing boat with 10 to 15 people. taxi in moheli are hard to find and more expensive than in Grande Comoros.
couple extras
- remember to bring mosquito spray and sunscreen. you cant find sunscreen in the whole country.
- eSim's dont work so dont waste your money on them.
- learn some common French words, 95% of them dont speak any english
- everyone we met was super kind. even you dont have common language they like to share their phone numbers if you need any help.

Hi, I haven’t been yet but am going next year. We are flying with Ethiopia airlines from Manchester to Addis Ababa, then from there to Moroni. According to the travel agent we used (who is based near Newcastle) this is the best and cheapest option to fly from England, apart from London airports.

Hi! i was in Comoros for 10 days this September. depends how long you are staying there. If you find yourself in Comoros i can 100% recommend Móheli and Laka Lodge. Moroni is one day city as its not that big and not that much to do. Grande Comoros has only few nice beaches in the north and one in the south (where the boats leave ).
Móheli is beautiful. a lot of nature and beaches. they have whale watch tours where you might be able to snorkel with whales, we did snorkel with mantas as we didint find whales on that day. Laka lodge is right next to a healthy reef where you can swim with seaturtles. there is also a beach in Móheli where you can see turtles hatching every night. its a hidden paradise thats a bit hard to reach. if you want more info you can send me a message.

Do not get arrested like I did.
This sub was utterly unhelpful during my imprisonment.
