Discussion Any competitive 11v11 adult soccer leagues around here? Preferably not co-ed.

New to the area, moved here from Austin. Liking CLT so far, but one thing I'm really missing is getting some organized 11v11 soccer action. There was a great league system in Austin with multiple divisions, 3 paid referees for every match, promotion/relegation system, etc. Divisions spanned from extremely competitive to casual.

From Googling so far, I haven't found anything in the area to replicate this. However, I've driven by some fields a few times and seen what looked like organized adult male league action.

Anyone have any leads or knowledge here?

Charlotte Premier Soccer League sounds like what you're looking for. Otherwise its Metrolina Adult Soccer League. It's coed, but maybe you'll find the upper division more competitive.

Charlotte premiere soccer league is all men’s and quite competitive.

MASL in the top 2 divisions is quite competitive also.

I used to see people on Saturdays and Sundays at freedom park playing in what appeared to be a league. Was co-ed though.

Looks looks you have your answer.

Why not stop and ask them? This is Reddit, and we can't answer for those people.

not unless you want to start a group for it, you may have more luck doing a 5v5 thing. i haven't played in years, played it more casually in college but I wouldn't mind getting back into it.
