Always nice to find another Umbrella Tree fan in the wild.
I'll also add in Mr. Dressup and Fred Penner's Place to complete my own perfect preschool trio.

Fred Penner is the reason I grew a beard and wear so much plaid/flannel and Mr.Dressup is definitely encouraged me to draw and not to worry about how it turns out and just have fun doing it

Corner Gas and Schitt’s Creek for me. Also in terms of reality series, this season of Traitors Canada is really good!

Michael Tuesdays and Thursday’s -it doesn’t seem to be available anywhere I thought it was on CBC Gem but it looks like they pulled it down and it seems like TUBI had it for a period also.

Endgame (2011) is a fantastic Canadian crime/mystery series with Sean Doyle. He plays a chess master whose fiancée is killed while he’s visiting Vancouver for a tournament. It triggers his agoraphobia and he can’t leave his hotel. When he runs out of money and is at risk of getting the boot, he starts working as a consultant to solve local crimes (using hotel staff as his proxies to go into the city and run down leads, etc).
It’s actually set in Vancouver, which is cool. They mention the Sea Wall and stuff, and the way the streets are named even comes into play at one point. It’s filmed in the Bayshore Hotel (but it’s named the Huxley in the show), and even the visual effects are neat (not like fast action car chases, but just some of the film techniques while he’s working stuff out). Overall, it’s a really fun show (and understanding chess isn’t a requirement or anything).

This show never gets enough love - Intelligence by Chris Haddock. Incredible show.
If you like that, a couple years later he did The Romeo Section. Also really solid.

For hard hitting comedy, I'd say Trailer Park Boys and Kenny Vs Spenny. Also as others have said Corner Gas.
