When I was little I used to get really distressed when people made a false step on that grid thing and got vaporised. I really thought they were being killed.

That and Knightmare were my introduction to horror, for want of a better term.
I had a pretty sheltered childhood, I guess - but seeing people disappear off into space, or the Knightmare head falling apart... Brr....

I was obsessed with this show as a kid. It just fired up every inch of my imagination.

I remember this, vaguely. Wasn't one of them a plant they used to call Uncle or something like that and a Vortex ting.
