The real war is Iran proxy Vs Israel, Syria can play a non participating role and save itself a lot of headache.

He explained the true context here. We need to take a step back and understand the current situation of the Syrians right now. They need to do some major recovery.

Finally a rare country in that region that just wants to live in peace with their neighbours and not simply start shit because of differences in culture and religion

Not rare anymore. Jordan and Egypt already made peace. UAE, Sudan, and Saudi Arabia already indicated they want to normalise ties during Trump's first presidency. Quite sure in the next 4 years, that will be done.

Pretty much most of middle East just wanna do their own thing after going through what they've been through for the past 2 or 3 decades as well as getting their ass spanked multiple times by Israel

Amen to that. Together, they can all achieve much more.

Yeah not a new idea, 1 of the main reason for Oct 7 debacle is Iran don’t want gulf region to normalise relations with Israel, thus pulling strings for proxy wars via Palestine, Hezbollah and Houthis.

Guess what? Israel fully fucking up each and every parties (not that I agree with their actions), and even a show of force that strip Iran air defence to almost zero, leaving them blind if there’s any further air strikes.

Wondering why there’s a relative peace now? Cz the mastermind (Iran) was fully humiliated and with their main ally pulling out resources to focus on Ukraine front, Iran can’t do much shit now.

Syria learned from Gaza and Yemen that, when your nation barely function, you don't go to war.

Give them decades, duh.

Actually, I prefer them not to go to war, at all, because Israel will always keep their guard up for centuries to come and they will always be ready to repel, they have shown us time and time again, that they are always ahead of the competition, look what happened in Gaza for example as payback after the Oct 7th incident.

You kill Israel's people, Israel will take more, don't fuck with them.

Syria asking for peace is a good move for its people.
