Just the difference in tone between the two platforms is wild. There's actual discussion and intelligent comments on BlueSky.

Every major non-conservative I follow on X since Elon took over has a literal army of bots and trolls targeted at them, that flood every post they make with comments of non-sense, vitriol, and debunked bullshit. You can't even block it out anymore. Even if you wanted to have an intelligent conversation, it's sandwich'ed between 30 troll posts making it nearly impossible to follow.

Between that and all the gambling ads, clickbait spam, crypto scam spam, and data harvesting fronts...the whole platform is just pure garbage now.

Not necessarily because X is bad (it is). Most social media platforms, including X, deliberately deprioritizes posts that have links to them so they get lower engagement. X doesn't want you clicking a link and leaving the platform, because then you're not scrolling past ads that they want to charge more for. Bluesky doesn't do that.
