Questions on 1) Best assistive technology for iPad Pro to study anatomy & physiology & 2) Academic strategist in Canada?

I’m requesting funding for assistive technology through Alberta Student Aid, specifically for an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil and hiring an academic strategist. It’s through the tech & equipment grants for students with disabilities. I’m approved by my institution already so I just need to identify which items I’ll request.

1. For those who have studied Anatomy and Physiology: Have you used any speech-to-text software or other apps/tools (besides the ones native to Apple/iPad Pro) that aid in memorization, active recall, or retrieval practice? If so, which ones were the most helpful, and why?

2. Has anyone worked with an academic strategist before? I’m in Canada and have never used one, but I’m open to the idea as I transition into healthcare education, which is a different field from my previous studies. If you have, how did they help you, and do you have any recommendations?

Thanks in advance for your insights and suggestions!
