Technology Night Vision Glasses
Hi all, my girlfriend has Stargardts and has very little nigh vision. Her vision during the day is fairly good although she isn't able to drive. I wanted to get something to help with her walking around on the sidewalk at night. I'm looking for something like night vision goggles that do not look like you're out on the hunt in the middle of the city. Is there anything like that? Something that is low profile and looks somewhat like glasses but has some infrared or similar technology to help with night vision? Thanks.

At this point smart glasses aren't focusing on night vision, but wow that's an awesome idea. It's not like they couldn't do it either since I have night vision built into the cameras on my Pixel 8 Pro. The lenses are small enough that you could easily put them in a pair of glasses that didn't make you look like you're wearing a 3D gaming headset. You'd have to attach it to a small battery pack that would fit into a packet. Then the key would be to make the battery smaller in future iterations of the glasses.

.... Flashlight lol? I don't have much useful night vision and a flashlight is great not just for me when I have to walk after dark, but for visibility so other people and cars see me better.

A long cane and some good training would be best.
