Look I’m not defending these people but maybe she was married to him before the crazy set in. And she’s Indian no matter what and in certain corners of Indian culture, unless you’re actively being beaten to death, you stay till death do you part and make it work. Weirdly enough, they’re very similar to certain African cultures with that nonsense. Plus, if she leaves, can you imagine how he’ll screw her up/over and take those kids away from her?
