Don't want to die in Ukraine + Don't want to get paid in freefalling rubles + Restricted immigration to US/EU = Move to Gulf.
Live in Gulf + Have a Russian relationship with alcohol = Visit Bahrain

The latter points are the correct answer. The former are al Jazeera hasbara.
Still you have 100,000 tons of diplomacy on your aircraft carrier of an island so I could understand that you have to couch your words around the mukhabarat.

They aren’t just Russians, they’re from the Czech Republic, Lithuania and Poland.
Bahrains got a good number of chartered flights stopping by recently with good packages for tourists from these countries for some reason, many 5 star hotels have a guranteed daily occupancy of 15% up until next month cuz of this.
These clients even boosted the economy slightly last month, but they’ve slowed down now, however we’re expecting cruise ships to stop by next month holding the same clients again 🔥
Apart from that, specifically talking about Russians, many 5 star hotels like the sofitel have been very active in bringing in Russians to bahrain, selling attractive packages and these clients tend to stay here from 7 days to a whole month. Like in ramadan, you’ll find almost no clients in 5 star hotels except Russians who every year, for some odd reason like to travel only during Ramadan to Bahrain 😂
All in all, tourism here is kinda random, there are some very dry months and some very good months

What happens when you want a bit of the West but your country has been sanctioned by both the United States and European Union, you go to the next best possible destination where you can still buy Italian sports cars, French handbags, Big Macs, watch Netflix and more. For Russians, it's basically the whole GCC, Dubai has been a very popular destination because of that, but now also Bahrain is getting some of that crowd. I know two or three folks who moved to Bahrain from Russia. Warmer weather, easy access to Western goods and services, no income or capital gain taxes, relaxing environment, direct flights to and from Moscow via Gulf Air, same time zone as Western Russia (yes they use GMT+3) and more.

There are chartered flights and fully organised tours coming into the country from Russia, Czech and Slovakia lately. That's probably why. Also, a lot of live in Dubai and need a holiday destination that they can actually go to, and we happen to be nearby.

Probably a visa run.
They only get tourist visa on arrival in the UAE and need to leave on or before expiry.
I believe they get a two weeks visa on arrival to The UAE, and a two weeks visa on arrival in Bahrain. Once the UAE visa expires they’ll come to Bahrain for a short stay and go back to Dubai and get a fresh two weeks visa.
The cycle continues until they decide they want to leave permanently.

As much as I don't like them... Yes leave me alone... I like to generalize...They are boosting the economy. Who else is going to take out a loan to dine in Cipriani.
