Consumer Is Timberland (shoes) to be boycotted or not ?
I use this link to find which products to Boycott - https://boycott.thewitness.news/search/
I’ve seen timberland come up a few times. However today I didn’t see it. Also I did some research and found out that the former CEO who was the grandson of the founder is an active Zionist and he sold Timberland to VF Corporation.
My gripe is that I bought a pair a few years ago and they are pretty sturdy. I don’t want to give my hard earned money towards genocide-enabling corporations. So I’m looking for alternative options.
TL:DR : Is timberland still to be boycotted ? Are there alternatives way I can get a pair without ensuring it goes towards the oppression of the Palestinians ? Are there substitutes which have the same look and feel as Timberland ?
Thanks all!!

According to Disoccupied.com, Timberlands are on the Do not Buy list. Patagonia is listed as a safe alternative.
REASON : VF Corporation operates multiple stores in Israel through its subsidiary VF Apparel Israel Ltd. This direct involvement in the Israeli economy legitimatizes the Occupation and strengthens its policies and actions in the Palestinian territories. Through well-known brands including Reebok, Vans, Timberland, North Face, and Supreme, VF Corp had annual revenue of $29 billion in 2023. This is more than the GDP of 86 countries and call on VF Corp to use its massive influence to advocate for justice in Palestine.
