ASK THE SUB Boycott Marks and Spencers?

Apparently there are no active calls to boycott Marks and Spencers. I know the store has a historical link with zionism and Israel but I read online that the company had begun distancing itself from the whole situation in the 2010s. Is it alright to shop there? Or is it definitely a place to boycott?

It’s definitely on the boycott list. They were Zionist before Israel even existed and have been Zionists ever since they were founded in the Victorian era. Lowkey even mentions it as a boycotted business in one of his songs.

You can swap M&S for Waitrose & John Lewis - they’re not on the boycott list and have an amazing employee ownership business model 💜

Just be careful as they still sell some Israeli products like Sabra hummus, avocados and dates!

It bothers me so much that the retailers pass native produce as Israeli 🤢Should be relabelled as “produced from stolen land”
