European tourist vandalizes Japan; commenters immediately blame America
/r/trashy/s/3VpU2A9N94Whats hilarious is that after someone pointed out that he is not American, they changed the subject to insulting americans βskillβ in vandalism. Suddenly vandalism is OK then.

I spent hours upon hours studying Japanese attractions, culture and history in my sophomore year of high school (2016-2017) before my first trip to Japan in July 2017. Vandalism wasn't, isn't, and will never be an activity I will be doing in Japan.

Its not an activity that most americans would do anywhere in the world

It isnβt just Americans that are shitty tourists.
Everyone needs to be better tourists.
It wasnβt hard to be respectful when I went to Japan. Just donβt be a dick and listen to what the locals say. Also doesnβt hurt to educate yourself anyway.
Plus when you are a dick, it ruins the experience for everyone else.

Johnny somali has damaged your reputation, to be honest. He is just one person but he made headlines.

Someone just needs to walk up behind him and do one of those "300" kicks into the small of this back "THIS IS JAPAN!"
