How do we know we're THE superpower? Because we're at the center of their attention 24/7/365 and one thing they absolutely cannot do, is to not think about us or not talk about us, all of the time.

There’s always someone with an anime pfp trashing the USA in the comments.

u/AngelOfChaos923 CALIFORNIA🍷🎞️ 2d ago

I like anime, but damn anime pfps just show a lack of respect intelligence in general

12

u/Dear-Ad-7028 2d ago

Not even an anime pfp, it was Tails looking embarrassed. I don’t know that person personally, but I wouldn’t trust them with anybody’s kid.

Gotta love the morons trying to be pedantic but being entirely wrong in the process.

"America is a continent, not a country. Plus, an American is from the continent of America. "

How can someone be wrong on so many levels in two sentences while having "Captain America" as their username?

u/Dolly-Cat55 2d ago

Plus foreigners modify the two names all the time when insulting citizens from the United States. Amerimutt, ‘Murica, Amerikkkan, Americ$nt, etc.

u/critter68 2d ago

Gotta do what they can to try to deflect from how they are all obsessed with us.

While using technology that we developed.

For all their hate and insults, we live rent-free in their minds at all times.

Also, it must really sting to find out how little they matter to us.

Pakistanis are actually Indians and a part of India as Pakistan is a part of the Indian sub continent. Ireland is a part of the British isles therefore making Irish people actually English and British. Europeans are actually Eurasian as the Europe isn’t really its own continent but a part of the Eurasian continent. Some siberians are actually American because a good bit of Siberia is part of the North American plate, there is two continents in Africa because of the two continents as there is both an African and an Somali plate. New Zealand is actually part of Australia as it is on the Australian plate. I can do this all day with stupid and logical examples.

u/critter68 2d ago

It's almost like these are stupid and intentionally ignore the actual points of demarcation.....

But I'm just a stupid American. How could I possibly understand basic concepts like national borders, the actual names of countries and continents, and collective naming conventions?

No one has the capabilities the US has. Name a country that can have a division anywhere on Earth in 72 hours. We used to believe it was Russia and China, but I doubt that after Ukraine.

u/Intelligent_Tea_1134 MISSISSIPPI 🪕👒 2d ago

Can’t forget a Burger King in 24-72 hours depending on the geography.

Russian logistics: NORTH KOREA WE NEED MORE BULLETS

American logistics: Hmm, do we want KFC or Wendy's?

Fuck you, put a McDonald’s on that side and a random ass pizza chain in the middle.

We can probably also topple a third world government in that timeframe

13

u/Mountain_Frog_ AMERICAN 🏈 💵🗽🍔 ⚾️ 🦅📈 2d ago

Why do these idiots always insist that America is a continent? America is NOT a continent. The Americas is a set of continents which includes North America AND South America.

12

u/mynextthroway 2d ago

It's obvious they don't enjoy our amazing education system.

4

u/jackaltakeswhiskey 2d ago

The word "continent" is ill-defined at best and tends to have more to do with politics than anything geographical anyway.

4

u/Mountain_Frog_ AMERICAN 🏈 💵🗽🍔 ⚾️ 🦅📈 2d ago

For the most part, yes, especially when it comes to the Eurasian continent, however North and South America are objectively not one content.

1

u/jackaltakeswhiskey 2d ago

For the most part

No, always. If this wasn't the case, what you'd say the continents are wouldn't vary so wildly depending on what country you're from.

7

u/RoutineCranberry3622 2d ago

Apparently the USA is a third world country and that’s why people are mad at the citizens of the country for it. Makes perfect sense now. How dare we be born poor from the world poorest country?! That is so OFFENSIVE.

Can anyone make this make sense?

7

u/Strict_Gas_1141 2d ago

We’re the only country to have had entire continents band together to compete (and still fall short)

Those fools can think whatever they want so long as they don’t attack us.

We aren’t an empire. We have friends abroad that act out of their own free will. If we controlled all of our allied nations, they wouldn’t be reliant on Russian energy or Chinese money. We gave territories a choice between status quo, free association, or complete independence.

America is a nation in North America that filled with distinct nations of different origins and cultures and it is the First Nation to gain independence and name itself as such. Nobody makes a fuss about Colombia taking the title of Colombian all for themselves (Castilian version of Columbia) when they were originally called New Grenada until Simon Bolivar declared independence from the Spanish.

u/Dear-Ad-7028 2d ago

There is no continent of America.

5

u/kd0g1982 2d ago

So in South America the 6 continent model is taught instead of the 7 continent and they consider North and South America to be one continent because of the Panama isthmus, completely ignoring the thousand plus miles of the European and Asian continents touching.

3

u/Dear-Ad-7028 2d ago

Well we cut it in half so it’s not connected anymore. They need to change their curriculum.

America isn't an Empire. But it should be.

1

u/IntrovertMoTown1 17h ago

It's always "nice" to see how poor public edumacation is in other places. I mean I knock ours here in America quite often but really it sucks pretty much the world over. Now add that to why George Carlin was able to first make the "joke" way back in 78 that went "think about how stupid the average person is, and realize that half of them are stupider than that." So IDK maybe I'm just expecting too much from schools.
