👨‍👩‍👧‍👦family/in-laws Am I overreacting if I didn’t reply to my mother’s message bc she only forwarded me a Merry Christmas video link on Christmas?

YOR a bit. It sounds like she was just trying to send a holiday message, even if it was in the form of a forwarded video. Maybe she didn’t realize you’d expect something more personal. It might be worth giving her the benefit of the doubt.

YOR. Be grateful you still have a Mother around that shares video links and that you can tell Merry Christmas to.

I don’t know your relationship with your mom but it seems like she saw something nice, thought about you, and sent it to you. Why not just say Merry Christmas back
