Oh no! Lock people up and treat them like animals for petty crimes and they lose their mind and go hog wild?!

During my time "in" I learned that when a CO is attacked they (the CO) were typically the reason they were attacked.
The pig could be loved by all his co-workers, that doesn't meant they weren't a POS who tortured the inmates.
OFC, it could just be someone who should have been put in a mental institution, but funding was cut to make someone else some money.

No a loved officer who takes care of their inmates would have been protected by them.
This is intentionally being blind to why certain officers get attacked all the time and others go their whole career with barely a scratch.
Its karma.

Notice how the article states he was a great Co-worker, and loved by his colleagues. He wasn't there for making friends with them, he was supposed to be caring for the detainees. He must slipped up somewhere and got himself stuck.

My kids' mom is a corrections officer and the stories I hear about her coworkers makes me think that officer got what was coming to him
