Good for you for voting for genocide π
Edit: For the idiots who believe I'm saying a vote for trump is a vote to end genocide, I'm not.

Please tell me how voting for orange man is a vote for not genocide π

Where did i say that?

Because regardless of thoughts and feelings one of those two are going to become the next president. And if a Harris voter throws their vote away on 3rd party itβs just one step closer for orange man.

There's other non genocide options

Is there really?
Voting for them will just split the vote and elect Trump.
Your vote doesn't happen in a vacuum

It won't split the vote. Becuase Im voting for 3rd party or null. Assuming a vote for a 3rd party is for Trump but not for Harris? Why? It deprives them both of a vote equally.

u/poop-machines Nov 05 '24
Because trump voters are going to vote trump.
Harris voters are more easily swayed. Most of the people who vote 3rd party would be Harris voters otherwise.

So better to perpetuate your shitty two party system?

u/poop-machines Nov 06 '24
No, but if you're voting in a two party system, you have to play by the rules.
Only way to get out of it is campaign and push, sign petitions, share posts about changing the voting system, writing go your reps, etc etc.
Your vote doesn't matter if you vote by just choosing someone who will never win.
Jill stein is literally a russian plant there to split the vote. I mean literally. She's there to ensure democrats lose.

For now, that is what exists. Change must come from the bottom-up. The system will not change by trying to elect an outsider into the HIGHEST office. It is a ridiculous notion, and even Ross Perot could not crack 20% of the popular vote and received ZERO electoral college delegates.
Without reform to the first past the post system and the electoral college, the two party system is what we will likely have.

Only 300+ million to go then Trumps out, so he can start his new journey 2025 through the courts and straight to jail. It's about time, too. πΊπΈπ«‘
