But it's not just that. She has a really good personality, and she is hilarious. She's simply fun to watch and listen to- which is the only thing needed to be an entertainer.
Nice NPC response, any other automated voice messages you want to pass on? Or will you surprise me and say something with substance?
Labels are convenient for those who can't engage in good-faith conversation. Allows you to auto-categorize people who might otherwise challenge the way you think. It's okay, we don't have to have a big boy conversation, you can call me an incel and keep posting about your mains in MMO subs lmao. Clearly this isn't an opportunity to engage in good-natured debate. This is just a nice place to drop your buzzword and collect your popularity points. Opportunistic scavenger.
Calling someone an incel is literally knuckle-dragging NPC behavior. I see threads full of these clones everywhere and sometimes they're right (but they don't know why)
That response is meaningless and if you had a brain you'd realize you're reinforcing everything i said. I can use buzzwords too (that aren't reddit-approved) but i won't lower myself to antagonistic mouth-diarrhea
Responding to an accusation of being an incel by calling the other person an “NPC.” I imagine the irony isn’t completely lost on you ? Ah what am I saying
Read again. Didn't implicate anybody as a simp. Two comments previous to my first comment someone said "found the first simp". That wasn't me. I only called people NPCs who couldn't formulate more than a couple words of criticism. "Incel" is about as useful as "leftist" now. They've become so blurred nobody knows what they mean and are essentially thrown around carelessly by those who are hard of thinking. People who try to karma farm by leaving cute little buzzword mic drops deserve the rope. They get ignored for low-effort NPC behavior. Besides, they don't want a conversation, they want some upboats and high fives.
.... It's a podcast. You don't watch podcasts, you listen to them, so I don't know how far looks can get you. If you're not witty or charming it's a bad podcast.
Sure, but I don't think people are staring at their computer for an hour and closely watching. I'm pretty sure they throw it on in the background while they work or cook or garden or whatever.
I didn't actually say that, though i understand it's easier for your lizard brain to categorize me as an incel. It is actually possible to have both people who have become successful as a result of their intelligence and people who have been in the right place at the right time and happen to be attractive. This is a case, especially given the nature of the original meme, where people are obviously crushing on her and that's getting her alot of attention.
You want a prize for disagreeing? But how reddit-ish of you to literally not take me for my word and instead provide your very own interpretation of my statements. "No, you're not saying that. You said something i interpreted differently earlier so now that interpretation is canon in my head and my autistic brain wont allow me to change it even though you're telling me it's not what you meant"
You literally said it was because she was hot, and when I called you on it, you switched to, "Oh, actually, it's because of the meme." You're a joke, go fuck yourself.
I haven't flip flopped on anything man, I'm not sure if you're full schizo but i have maintained fully from the start that i believe her fame is a result of a sex-related meme clipped from a small interview and her conventionally attractive features helped fuel and grow that spark of attention into what it is now. I maintain that it's not a result of interesting conversation or substantial content creation. This has been my one position from the start. If that's unclear, its because you either didn't read or made assumptions.
Tl;dr it's a skill issue. Go apply for a brain transplant, smoothie :)
Edit: yea i just looked back, you made an assumption in your first reply that i think women can only become well-known for being attractive. In actuality, you made that up. I am saying that in this specific case she got famous because she's attractive and made a dumb blowjob meme that people find quasi-attractive. It's not an indictment of every woman who has gained fame. Again, read with your eyes and stop inserting assumed beliefs into my argument that arent there. You're seeing ghosts.
Read closer and you'll find i haven't. I do believe she has her 15 minutes now because most people saw blowjob meme and found it funny/subconsciously attractive. And likewise, people who are either attractive or conventionally "unattractive" can hold people's attention because they're interesting. My only point was that she's experiencing this surge of stardom as a result of a 15 second blowjob meme clip and i think that says something. Anyways, im obviously a dummy retard incel according to the reddit hive mind so I'm good on commenting on the issue. The backlash to one single comment was unreal and i accept that it's controversial here, though i didn't expect it to be when posting. Gonna go seek out another news/interest platform that isn't so divisive. I've given reddit several tries, and always come away feeling like people are extremely confrontational and shitty in the comments. Time to put it down for a while
Someone pointed out that she knew how to capitalize on the fame wave and keep the audience interested. You said:
Yes, it's called being attractive.
I read quite closely. You specifically claimed, right out of the gate, that her being attractive was the reason she was able to maintain the audience. Not how she was able to gain the audience in the first place.
Oh my mistake, i guess i should've specified that i believe she also got her fame that way too. Sorry i wasn't razer-specific on that. Also when i said "her" in all subsequent replies, i meant "hawk-tuah girl".
Right, and then you go on to specifically acknowledge that there are other attractive people on the Internet without her level of success, thereby demonstrating that there must be something else besides her attractiveness.
It's taken three comments to explain what I thought was pretty clearly laid out in the first one.
By the way: it's razor. Razer is a brand of gaming peripherals.
Maybe, and maybe not. I haven't seen anything especially interesting in her talks with people following the initial meme. Maybe im wrong. Better downvote to oblivion either way lol
i mean, there are plenty of attractive women who aren’t making hundreds of thousands in merch sales and podcast sponsorships, so clearly she’s doing something right. idk what her deal is in particular, i haven’t listened to a single episode of her podcast or anything, but it’s obviously more than just her looks getting her places.
idk dude, ive been replying to people seriously all morning and im kinda good on writing essays out. I'm now just shit posting, if you want my actual take search it out in other response. Anyways yes i am bad incel, trendbucker, big rebel. Whatever lol.
Yep, i didn't say every attractive person on a social media platform will get famous. This is extremely tiring, look at other comment threads to get full responses, I've been subjecting myself to replying all morning.
No, you said she is famous because she is attractive. I am not misquoting, that is the post you made that I replied to. Her being attractive absolutely helps, but again, there are plenty of attractive people who have not achieved what she has, so there must be another x factor to her. Would you not agree?
Are you incapable of reading context in a situation? Yes, she's famous because there are other factors aside from being attractive. My point was that if someone who was conventionally unattractive/overweight made the same blowjob joke in an interview, i don't think they'd be selling shirts, i don't think they'd have a podcast, and i don't think people would care nearly as much. Again, i think she's gained the attention she has from being attractive and the nature of the original clip. People may have found it funny, but i think it was quasi-sexual and subconsciously people gravitate towards that content. So I'm not sure how many qualifiers or caveats need to be included so i don't get a reply like "oh, so you just think everyone who makes a joke in an interview and is attractive and is on social media gets famous, is that it?".
Also, before it gets brought up, yes i am aware multiple people have blonde hair on social media and they are not famous. Hitler drank water too etc etc etc.
lastly for sure, you mentioned that being attractive helped her. Lets explore that a bit. Why do you think it helped her and if you had to put a percentage on how much it had to do with it, what would that number look like?
Edit: i made like 15 other posts replying to people missing the point as hard as they possibly can. Go read those. Not rewriting novels all day.
Yes, she's famous because there are other factors aside from being attractive.
Okay, so then you agree with the person you replied to that was being accused of simping for stating the exact thing you just stated here. I feel like the conversation can end here. Thanks
I think by most people's standards she is quite good-looking. I'm not sure if this is an attempt to dismantle my suggestion that she's garnered fame for being attractive and making blowjob memes. But I think you'd have to be willfully ignorant to not see that like 90% of people attracted to women would find her attractive. Im also talking about the internet and surface level appeal. So forget personality, accents, geography. If you put an attractive person (male or female; I'm not just calling this out because she's a woman, contrary to what another redditor so elegantly accused me of) in front of a camera and they say words that string together a sentence, give the video decent production quality in a podcast environment, people will watch it. Sorry, I just think this is a special case where hawk tuah wouldn't have even been famous for more than a day if she wasn't attractive. Plenty of women and men have made a name for being entertaining and interesting as an online personality, and i just dont think that's the case here.

People tend to forget that there's a lot of horny men out there.
