Hard to say, we haven't had enough time and experience with Yamato/Ace yet. They're both amazing subs that can see a lot of play with their switch ability alone.

Anni banner is gonna stay here for a while so there's no need to rush to make a decision.

Out of places where I can farm gems I only have grand voyage and garp challenges left. How much gems can I get from grand voyage and how grindy is it?

Grand Voyage is quite difficult but you can beat the lower levels and get a good few gems.

Garl Challenges give a lot of gems so try them as well. Make sure to complete the chopperman missions for them. Clear with a full team of each type for 1 gem and then you get 10 gems once you do all the types.

For the part 1 anniversary banner, which characters allow for smoothest progression early game before I start saving for part 2 and 3?

You could try rerolling for the PSY Roger or V2 Strawhats, they both don't have class restrictions on their special and captain ability, since as a new player you don't have many characters to choose from for forming a team, no class restrictions would help you immensely.

The new anniversary legends are also solid but their special and captain abilities are restricted to certain classes/types so you may have some issues building teams.

With LLB being a thing now, you'd probably want to keep some copies of every RRs, even old ones.

The ones that can't reach level 99 can be sold instantly since they can't have an LLB, even though Iceburg has a good support if I remember right.

Silver keys are used on Rare Recruits. Not all RR have the option to be LB+, but every month a handful of units get an expansion.

Clicking on every RR to check which one can be expanded can be tedious, but using the database you can filter units by RR & 'Has a Limit Break expansion'

How bad is the powercreep now? I remember it being pretty bad when the captain abilities became from 2.5x atk as standard to 4x pretty fast, I see the cap is at about 5.5x but how fast did it take? Also who are the best units currently? Seems like my best unit in my pulls is Ulti and Page One

6th Anni (2 years ago) introduced 5x captains. Up until literally just 2 weeks ago, we were still mostly working with 5x captains for the most part.

Best Legends, take your pick from the 3 Super Sugo Anni Legends, and RWB, V2 Strawhats and Yamato (all 6 are Super Sugo Legends). Perhaps throw in Toki as another top unit.

Guys I have an issue. So i switched from an old iPhone to a new iPhone. I transferred my data, but on my new phone there are roughly 500 characters missing. Since I logged in on my new iPhone I got the reward e-mails there.

Now the question would be do I loose the reward mails, when I back up the data from the old device again and transfer it? And when I claim the mails on the new one and transfer to the old one are my 500 characters lost?

Straw Hat Crew V2 and Super TND Luffy are fairly new and very very powerful. V3 Zoro is a very good DEX Captain and Osoba Mask is still a really good unit and it will see a lot of play moving forward due to the release of Super TND Luffy

We don't know yet, but likely not. We expect all 4 debuts to have individual rates of 0.125% on part 1 (so 0.5% combined) and 0.5% on part 2, 3, 4, and 5

Your gonna have to build different teams for each different piece of content. So before you take on a difficult piece of content look up the stage information and see what debuffs will be applied to your crew then use the filter to see which units you have which will remove the debuff.

10 days in. I managed to get to P Lvl 300 so got 30 tickets and did my pulls.

Here is my roster and I'm looking for advice on where to pull for the anniversary as well as who should I build up from what I've got.

I should add that I'm really still not sure what I'm doing this far in. I think I get the gameplay basics but for team building I only know to build around the captain bonus.

I have about 520 gems right now and have only just started Logue Town in the story so I'm assuming there's still a fair amount of gems there.

there isn't one crew that will help you clear all content. practically every single piece of content will require you to make a new team specifically for that content. in essence, you wanna build teams to get around the gimmicks, and also have sufficient damage to kill enemies

I'm in the Fishman Island area in the story levels and my unit box is starting to get too full for my liking. Are any of the story-farmable units worth leveling up and/or keeping around? Or should I go ahead and scrap all the 3/4 ☆'s to make room for my Anni pulls?

I’ve returned recently and I have been doing these chopper requests with the last 3 being “Clear any Clash!! at Event”. When I press “challenge” to take me to the area I am presented with Olin and Marco Trial team quests and another event quest, but when doing these quests they do not count toward these requests. There is a Infographic on the Reddit somewhere that has every Part and it's Legends on it. You can use that to cross out the ones you already have and evaluate what you want to pull on. Otherwise it's probably best to Pull on Part 1 as it has all Legends especially the older Ones that got Upgrades with LLB and very good Steps. If you are happy with what you've got in Legend diversity then I would consider Part 3 but in the End it all depends on how many Gems you have.

Dumb question , but could someone check to see how much time is remaining on your 8th anni countdown sugo banner? It says it ends today at 18:59 PST which would be 8:59 PM for me, however, there is currently 8 hours and 47 minutes left on mine which would put it ending at 19:59 (9:59 PM)

The game is permanently in PST but right now in real life we’re in PDT which is an hour earlier. In other words depending on the start or end of daylights savings, the game times are either an hour early or on time.

There is still the chance of the new legends, but no more guarantees. If you're hunting specific units, it would probably be better to pull on their specific parts instead.

by far the most effective way to level or trade units imo:
sort by special. it puts all the units from same evolution line together. so you have the evolved and unevolved in one place, without having to know who evolves into who.

I think the new beast pirates rr sailor ability might be bugged. Sometimes when I’m attacking with jack for example and he has a tandem or wano orb the enemy don’t get that reduced resistance. And also sometimes when I’m attacking with either one of them with one of those slots the enemy gets increased damage taken.

Is Kaido a lot better than Luffy?

The sugo limit break tickets do they correspond with allowing u to increase those limit break sockets up top trying to figure out how to get the new kaido and luffys super tandem slot to lvl 5. Or do only dupes of the same unit allow u to do it and you have to get 9 copies of the same unit?

You need dupes to level up super tandam.

You can also get a tablet to level it up but these are very rare. You can currently get one in the blitz battle chopperman rewards.

The sugo limit break tickets allow you to level up your unit to level 150.

Need some help with the Blitz, I checked in the mega thread but it's not as active at the moment. I am using this team suggested by u/HURRICAIN57:

VS Kaido with V1 Akainu support as captain, with jack, king, queen, and INT F2P katakuri subs and a friend captain hybrid kaido.

Stall for kaido special, use jack, queen, and vs kaido on stage 4, gives you paralysis/bind, def reduction/def up, and a full board of orbs with an attack boost.

Stage 5 use king special, katakuri special, and FC Hybrid Kaido supertype and special, then take him out.

I'm missing the new Jack, the team works great until stage 4 to get rid of the bind. Can someone suggest some characters that I can use to replace him please? Apart from this team, I only have Sanji from the new batch. If team order is important please let me know.

I have a question about Luffys super tandem requirement.

I own the full badge and also run him along the new Sanji and Zoro. Luffys requirement states that you need to have a Sanji and also Zoro in your party to be able to to activate it.

But for some reason super tandem seems to be Locked. I cannot use it in combat. So what's the deal? Do I have to do something specific beforehand?

My brother has the same problem, so we are kind of clueless now.

I'm on step 16 part 1 and have pulled all new legends except Yamato/ace.

I still have ~2k gems. I'm debating if I should go to step 20 cause I'm missing 7/11 of the super sugo fest exclusives. But the rate to get Yamato/ace would be better on part 3.

Ok theory I could go to step 20 and go to step 30 on part 3 if I get really unlucky. But that would cost me all my gems. Don't know if that would be worth it.

What should I do?

I would advise to continue to step 20. Step 18 has 50% chance of reds as well. After that, you can go 10 pulls on part 3 (the good steps are on steps 5, 8 and 10), and then if you're still missing them at that point, you'll have to decide if you really wanna go all the way for them.
