How to go about "Unlocking Power" for units other than legends i.e for RR units, f2p farmable units? And for the farmable units should I also go for max sockets after maxing their special level? Thank You.

Use Forbidden Tomes for unlocking powers for units. For farmable units, feed the copies after limit breaking them so you get potential abilities maxed too.

They have boosted effects for an event. For Global right now, any character with a yellow aura has boosted stats and special cooldown for Kizuna. While Sengoku has a better CA for the event, Sengoku and Neo Coby have Rainbow Damage.

Thanks both guys. Yes, i have already done the copperman, i started with Roger/Oden supersugofest, i still need to do a lot of Coloseum and raids, same with training forest. The only content i can't complete right now are Garp challenges, but i guess it's normal since they are endgame content, i just hope i can get 100 stones when part 2 arrives, i think i can do all the chopperman in no-time at least until intermediate missions.

to complete on the other answer, my advice would be to just check optc-db with the filter on Sailor Ability. Depending on the needs and the color of mobs you can also use for 3x additional damage Stampede Brook, Kizuna Carrot, PF Blackbeard, PF Lucy, and many others have x2 too.

The pinned comment has stuff about it but unless the legend has a sidegrade 6+ (something fundamentally changes how you’d use the unit), then probably rayshop and if you have tons of raypoints then sure feed, why not. You don’t need the excessive raypoints either, it’s just a nice thing to have for any good tickets like the lrr or (probably just annual) recent legend ones.

So there is the earlier one in intermediate that wants you to beat the first 5* buggy thing, then once you unlock a later wave of intermediate then it wants you to beat the other 2 buggy stages, are you sure you’re looking at the right buggy quest for your progress?

I skipped anniversary and was going to go all in on Kaido vs Big Mom part two. I was farming the skill books and now I have 5 gems!!!. (was 1500+)

I’d say the opposite, I use law more and think he’s easier as a captain because his captain ability doesn’t switch around like shanks does (like all dual units kinda do). The biggest difference between the two in terms of usability I might say is shanks is great on Roger teams because he fulfills the supertype and law does not. Also shanks can deal with resilience if you hit perfects after his special, but that’s not that common of an issue.

Why is it that sometimes in pirate rumble a reserve unit will come with fully charged special attack while others won't? I lost a ton of duels because of my opp's unit coming in with fully charged oden special while my own barely has half.

Which 6+ evo skull islands should I unlock?

I know V1 6+ Nami is really good - can someone who has her confirm that? How good is she really?

For the rest... I'm really not sure if I would ever use them. I already have 6+ Bullet. V2 Whitebeard seems like another good candidate. V1 Enel changes drastically for the better with his 6+ but is he worth it nowadays with NAO?

V2 Boa, V1 Katakuri, Franky and the whole V1 Germa family aren't worth it at all right? If someone has them please tell me if you use them often/at all :D Thanks in advance!

V1 Nami: decent. Pretty good sub for kizuna but i havnt used her in a while. worth getting her skulls

Franky: good in pvp but if you gave any of the top pvp teams like slasher and int you wont use him for that. and he can be replace by any other tank in pvp really like capone, in normal content. hes ok i guess. you can cheese content that blows aways units i guess but thats it. cant remember if i ever used him tbh. but hes a decent atk booster as a sub but theres just so many options for that.

kata is fun for some ppl and some hate how his captain works but he can clear content but finding friends is gonna be super hard especially with LB+ which boosts his captain. Never really used as a sub. Not worth getting unless you really like how he works.

Boa: if you dont have any good free spirit afinity booster then get her because thats all she really does. if yes then wait until your bored and need something to farm.

Enel: garbage, dont bother. double enel does 10mil damage. bosses have like 40+ mil HP now. Bad captain and useless sub. he did not age well. at all.

WB is really good. especially as a support(not sure if his 6* removes despair as a support) decent captain if you are missing powerhouse ones, good sub but also one of those units that are good but theres other options for despair removal or atk boost but hes nice to have.

Germa is kinda meh. i never used 6+ judge and tbh 6* judge sees more play because he boosts orbs AND reduces 7 turns of bind.

I have Nami, she's pretty great! The islands are pretty cheap, so I'd recommend unlocking them when you really need them since you'll very likely always have the required gems.

V1 Katakuri is gimmicky but a quite fun and powerful captain, Franky is amazing for pirate rumble and Nami is an okay dex captain if you don't have anything better, but a good sub with utility, two attack boosts for 4 classes and some alright supports, so pretty much she's enough for some mini bosses.

And I completely forgot about Pirate Rumble. I see Franky all the time on teams, so he'll probably be the second one I'm gonna farm up.

Just looked up V1 Kata's captain ability again and I completely forgot how unique and cool he was/is. Slightly lower than (today's) average captain boost but still seems pretty great!

Yeah, Franky is really good but also very stally, so if you're gonna use him put him on your defence team. And I guess this is a good time to grind evo skulls because of the lack of event content so might as well go for it. Good luck on your grind.

We got permanent 36% skillup chance now with 10.2, but very likely with no x2 or x3 for a long time (perhaps 100% during a few events)

A lot.

From your box, topright click the filter. Go to the 2nd tab [filter], scroll down to special. Press the arrow downwards.

From this menu select the 2nd last option: Reduce Enemy Effect Duration and click it. Another list shows. Select the 2nd last option again (enemy resilience) and press ok

This will show you the enemy resilience options you currently have.

Also End of Turn damage also negates resilience. For this go back to the specials list, then other\end of turn additional damage\ ok

There are plenty. You filter for units that remove it in-game using the filter or you can look up units on the OPTC Database.

Is there a pvp team that can counter the roger/oden/doffy teams? In different variations they represent 80 - 90% of the teams i encounter. I really don’t like going up against them because the chance of losing is to big. So i end up scrolling for ages to find teams where i know i should win if all goes well. I saved up a ton of flags, and i got most characters; but instead of going all in and building a variation to the same team, i rather use one that has a strong chance of winning against them. What seems to work...?

Sorry dude, pvp is borked to hell and back. There are no hard counters to them and most of the players do as you do - evade the uber-teams in hopes of finding an easy win, because the chance of losing to the Roger/Oden/Doffy/Kizaru/whatever the rest slasher team is just too damn high.

Supertype Kata gives psy -5def and has non missable huge aoe. Vs BM gives int a huge CD speed up. Its the only combination together with fast strong int aoe to kill the slashers fast enough. Even those its a gamble to some degree.

Once legend Eneru V2 and Rebecca&Toysoldier are released, the slashers get rekt tho.

Can someone explain why Bandai is so stingy with the Chain Boost? Highest we have is +1.1 with Cracker and Raid O-Soba. (If we don't count the v3 Law since his boost works a bit different.) With +1.1 you get to 3.6x at the last hit but if you use someone like v2 Big Mom or Shanks Crew you can easily acquire 3.5x for 5 of the units in the team. I find it really weird that chain boost comes in low amounts.

Honestly I like it how it is. You can do a lot to manipulate your chain: boost, set, sugar transformation, chain multiplier, chain boosting captains. The highest I've seen is 72.35x, so I wouldn't say you can't reach high numbers :)

Yeah I am not saying you can't reach high numbers but it seems impractical to use a chain booster instead of a chain locker, so I always end up using the chain lockers instead of a chain boost.

Well for one Cracker doesn't have the highest chain boost, V2 Shira Sherry does with 1.2x

And second it's because chain boost has a higher peak than chain lock. For chain lock, that's it, that's the only manipulation you got. Very good for high damage for low # of specials.

But chain boost can be combo'd with Sugar, base chain increase (V3 Law) and chain multiplier (V2 Vivi Becca, Sanji Judge), which results in FAR higher damage peaks than just chain lock.

I think it's probably because chain boost is technically the highest solo multiplier you can get, they might not want to make it too op.

I see a few of my friends' units with cotton candy stats above the limit (for example, one roger with +410 stats when the limit is ~320), and I'm really curious about this. How did they do it?

If your limit is 320, then that means you’ve already started the ability to do that, the rocks on gather island are what increase your max cc amount which you unlocked by doing the single battles in PvP. You just level those rocks to have bigger maxes.

You unlock them through the Pirate Rumble Island quests. Then feed Pirate Rumble points to the shrines you unlock to max them out.

Absolutely. You can reroll for an account and take your time breezing through the earlier content with your fresh units. And you might be even be able to run new content, albeit in the easiest difficulty

Some advice for a returning player. I'm returning after I stopped playing some time last summer, but I recently returned and had some good luck on the anni sugo. But since I came back I see that there are so many new things added, plus I plan on getting into New World in treasure map for the first time. What should I focus on? Do I need to focus on everything? Plus any advice for getting into New World? ( I just made it into grand line.)

Getting into the New World shouldn't be that hard if you get lucky with stamina refills or spend some gems. In the New World, if you don't have the TM RRs you really need all the f2p TM boosters you can get, they are sometimes so essential that not having one of them may mess up your whole TM.

For being a returned player, I'd recommend farming the f2p stuff in your pace.

You should probably farm raids and colosseums. There are a lot of useful units there. You can also farm invasions for invasion character themselves and for skulls.

Can someone confirm this? I had pulled an unevolved Luffy/Sanji on my main, evolved them during their banner and got the stage 2 effects. But on my 2nd, I pulled an unevolved Germa 66, didn't evolve them during their banner, did it after, and it didn't have the stage 2 effects. Do you not get the stage 2 effect for Germa 66 or will you not get the effect if you don't evolve it during their banner?

They release a manual island that is separate from the rotating ones when a new batch comes. After that island leaves the books are gone until they next update the rotation, which happens very rarely

I mean you can pretty safely go for the all legend multi at least if your next pulling time would be ace vs Akainu because they’re like 4 months away, we get like 300 gems a month, and even if their guarantee was on 30 with no discounted multis that’s 1500 gems. So from the current 1150 you have 4ish months to guarantee them, spending 250 or 300 or whatever it is would be a safe move.

Tama is placed on tons of teams as she’s one of the best healers, she could probably fit on anything really. Oars is an int PvP unit so I would assume he is good on int teams which are good. Not knowing your box then maybe you could build int.

Unfortunately we don’t have a great source of PvP info because our PvP database just pulls the info from the normal database which is lacking a lot of unit’s PvP info.

Asking which to super evolved? I’d say Ray, Kizaru (if using for PvP), kata, maybe inu for PvP but he’s outdated, the rest. Ray is the only one I’d consider essential, Kizaru if you go for slasher in PvP but I don’t know how much longer slasher will be at the top, and kata is iffy because he’s a sidegrade but I do use him for garp whitebeard int.

How does Pirate Rumble structure work? When do you get your ranked placement and how would you go by increasing it?

Each season lasts for 4 weeks. There are 3 different qualification blocks (A, B, C) and a final exibition/championship round. Depending on your highest placement at the end of these early blocks you will be assinged to either exibition or championship (top 5k in only one block will grant your entrance for championship).

In the last week of a pvp season you will compete with others for ranks to get a grade depending on your final rank after exibition/championship concludes. To be able to unlock all facility ressources on the pvp island you need to rank top 1k in championship once. You will achieve that by spending gems for more attacks and by (obviously) wins in a championship.

With the new global update, when you sort by special it shows the special level instead of the actual level. I prefer to have the characters sorted in this way, but I don't like the lack of level on the units, is there any way to change the display? Or is there another way to sort them that is in the same order?

The pinned comment always has the most recently reported number so it could change but that generally relies on new players starting up or frequent rerollers to report that. So if you’re starting up and trying to check, we won’t know unless you pull them at a different download amount.

2. the quest youve chosen can only be cleared a set number of times (so after the last possible clear the retry buutton isnt clickable)

Higher stamina should have higher drop rate so it should be better but if you want to risk better stamina efficiency for lower drop rates then you can do it that way. But in theory the higher stamina should give you more skillbooks.

As long as you are using decent units, comparing stats will only be a concern for the greatest difficulty of content, so you don’t really need to worry about ATK, HP, and RCV most of the time, with the exception of upgrading of upgrading your units with Limit breaking and cotton candy.

Your main concern with deciding which units to use that work under a captain ability should be their specials, deciding what to use dependent on the content.

If you really want to compare stats you can just sort in your box using the ATK, HP, and RCV sorting orders.

No, for this you need Ink Bottles (50 small and 15 large, in order to unlock lvl 1 and lvl 2)

These can be gained from TM, but they do seem to be given out at certain events as well. Ink levels are cosmetic though.

Feeding a copy does add:

• chance of special up
• guaranteed socket
• guaranteed potential ability (if unlocked after LB)
• guaranteed support level up (if unlocked when evolved)

What units should be the priority here?

Right now my thought is: Sell nearly all non-Straw Hat story grunts even if the game tells me they're rare @3 stars, Limit Break whatever is considered top tier (if any are that good, and I'll read up on how it works), then level up and work on sockets and specials (maybe wait for an event to help with this?).

Are the friend points at least good for Rayleigh points? Or do people feed the dupes, or spend on Boosters instead? I'll keep it below 20000 from here on...
