Is there any difference between pulling on Part1 8th multi or pulling in part 2 first multi?
I have 36 gems right now. As I see it. I won't be able to pull the 9th multi with free gems. Thinking about pulling the discount on part 2
Omgggggg. Just did it! 2 reds one secret. All dupes... 11th was fucking Shanks crew. I'm shaking. Got both Shanks and arlong... Can't believe it.

I've been trying to figure out rerolling on bluestacks but the root browser won't let me copy the sakura.db file so I can skip the tutorial. Anybody have any idea what I can do to get it to work, I really don't want to download Nox because I've heard it's pretty shady.

I got a question for f2p players, do you use gems to refill your sailing stamina on Treasure Map? I'm asking because I've been playing for nearly a year and I haven't been able to get max limit break on anybody and honestly it's making me depressed to the point where I want to quit the game.

Should i max special of vivi/rebecca and cat/dog now with almighty manuals cuz its guaranteed rn, or should i wait until i see a quest where their manuals drop? I didn't see any yet. Also is there a quest you can get manuals for stampede luffy? It wasnt shown on optcdb thats why im confused

Yea thats what i also thought, but i just prefer using the actual manuals, just incase i need the almighty ones sometime for some unit later that doesnt have manuals available but i need special max asap. Now i have to think about who i max with those(dont have many) . Does legend stampede luffy have a quest where his manual is obtainable?

I have the same thing, the rainbow crab drops very rarely. I have better luck getting it as part of a gift or archievement.
If you are in a pinch, you could get it at ray... but 500 rp is so overpriced.

Guys, need some advice!
I will get 30 gems tomorrow, already did my pulls but im missing don drieg/gin.... Should i:
1) pull for the 30gems part 2
2) wait for part 3 and get the new straw hats rr and possibly krieg/gin
3) arlong ship
Im really stuck right now.... i returned after a long break and been playing since quarentine started and was able to get some pretty good legends shanks crew, arlong crew, osoba mask, v3 law...

Dont pull for the strawhats, waste of gems. Yes they are ok as units, but definetly not necessary to have, replacable, and not worth spending gems for. Also there are a bunch of strawhats that are better than those. Gin and Krieg will be available in future sugos, so dont worry about that. During the event period arlong ship will be the best one. After it's boost effect is over, it will still be well used for stuff like kizuna. So getting the ship wouldnt be a bad choice. Its good you pulled those legends. If you are still missing many, continue to pull cuz thats still the best sugo and a good legend rate, and maybe even get krieg/gin, besides a/some legends hopefully. If you are very glad with your pulls and want to use this ship then go for the ship, lol. If u wanna more stuff go pull. All the legends and krieggin will be available in future sugos and the ship will return too, but that usually takes pretty long.

Do the chopperman mission for Garp Demon 2 and Revolution 2 reset each month also? So you can get 20 gems a month if you can beat them?

Kind of? I believe doffy will rotate out for the new whitebeard one next month though I think he’ll rotate back in after that. You only get 20 for the first completion, all later ones are 10 gems.

Brand new player. Currently I’m using red hair pirates, smoker & tashigi, buggy pirates, perona, and sakazuki. I’m struggling with mid-game events 6*+. My important crew. The ones that are max level are the characters I’m looking at. I have to have a stronger character than the farmable buggy pirates, right? Thanks for your time!

You can't just clear any content with one team. It always depends on what you encounter in the content, for harder content you need to build a team for quests specifically. E.g. there will be an enemy who paralyses and special binds your crew for 3 turns? If you run Shanks/Crew as your captain, the special bind will be gone automatically, thats just part of his captain ability. If you have TS Nami (int) as a sub, her special reduces the paralysis and special bind for your crew by a certain amount (i think 5 not sure tho). Watch some youtube videos about teambuilding, i recommend the one from toadskii, it was well explained

What are the rates of getting skulls on ambushes. Are they also different depending on the ambush? Cuz i felt like i got one from harder ambushes like linlin more than from easy ones like shanks that's available rn. Its exhausting wasting stamina on this in the hope of getting some skulls (i need them) while theres much better stuff to do in this evet. Second question: is there always a certain ambush quest available after certain clashes? Or are they not available sometimes and come back only once in a while?

Not different depending on ambush. The rate is 14-20%. There is always an ambush on Global these days but which ambush it is changes week to week and some are easier than others. They will always be available on the same clashes.

Arlong's ship is under Unlockable Quests in Extra Island. Costs 30 gems, it's called something like "Get the Shark Superb in this adventure"

Started playing recently and can't get around this Lucci Ultimate Radius event 60 stamina difficulty. I lose on 3/5 I can't damage the marine and he one shots after two turns. How can I get around that? I watch videos and people get specials so quick all of mine are around 15-20+ turns and aren't charged up in time for round 3 and this generally stops me in the harder events.

Personally, I would use Chopper since the chance of Buggy duplicating a useless item like lobsters is high. I don't have Chopper so ran it with Buggy/Chopper though (and got a lobster dupe)

Personally, I'd go with Chopper for the guaranteed dupe of each cotton candy. Buggy will dupe any random item and it could end up being cotton candy instead of an almighty manual, etc.

Recently came back after a 3 months break. I just pulled Sangoro and figured that he was quite unimpressive if you don't have his Limit Break extended. So I know you can get those Gold Keys from Treasure Map Top 500 in new world rank (at least that's what it was 3 months ago), but now I bascially won't be able to get a Gold Key that way in less than 2 months, because I start in east blue rank again. So my question now is if there is another way of getting a Gold Key? Kinda pains me having pulled a top tier legend without it being top tier, cuz i am missing a specific ingame item :/

NW TM points + rankings (that top 500 is the 2nd key. You get 1 key for being in NW). Occasionally VERY HIGH Blitz rankings. No other way. Garp Challenge gives silver (RR) keys.
Anyways, no, O-Soba's CA does NOT change as much as you think it does. The only difference his that double O-Soba TND orb rates go from 37% to 41%, It's not a big deal and most certainly is NOT the breaking point of whether or not he's top tier.
He IS top tier btw. Try playing around with him a bit more.

How can you get so many points for that coop event? I myself have a 5,2x booster team and just a shy of 8000 pts. The highest booster i have seen was 11x and i have been farming that coop event a lot. The highest point score was somewhere around 2.2 mil pts? How is that possible?

Max boost is 27x, so 5x your boost. From there it’s only a matter of time.

He see niche use as their are better rainbow atk boost in the game now but he can still see use in certian garp challenges or other pieces of content
The biggest "Problem" with him is that he evolves into Snakeman so many people just evolved him so not a lot of people make teams with him anymore
Side note his meat orb based captain ability that lets him change gears is really fun

how high would vivi/rebecca's captain atk boost be if her 2.5 affinity boost would be converted to an attack boost?
my question is basically 1.75 atk + 2.5 affinity = ??? atk

She's like RR Ain, double special, removes 2 turns of certain debuffs and 2 turns of enemy DR buffs. Really good, specially as a F2P unit, her colo is pretty annoying though.

Got a question about the unlockable skull islands. If you unlock them right before the quest goes away, can you still challenge the island for the full 24 hours, or does it disappear at the same time when the quest goes away? Need to farm up Nami skulls but stamina is still very precious right now.

I think they stay. The timer for it to "go away" is just a reset for how many times you can unlock the island. It should reset daily.

both are great, but imo bottom is best because it has Jack/Vivibecca. Top has saboala/Chopper tho.... but I'mma be 100% in saying that vivibecca is the most important character to own in the game. She's required for so many teams without replacement.

Hi All, very new player. I'm loving the hell out of OPTC, and the new festival has been great. I scored a bunch of new characters with all the boosted rates, and it has been awesome. However, I have amassed several questions after playing for 1 month. They are as follows:
1) What is the best Bullet team I can build? Do I have a team that would be better than Bullet? I have just been throwing on my highest awakened STR/QUICK/DEX units, but have no despair resists, etc (or at least I can never use their specials and find myself just waiting out bind turns, ATK down, etc). https://imgur.com/2Yt3QOn
2) Should I be using gems to re-fill stamina to acquire as many training manuals as possible? For example, I have been using excess stamina for the DEX manuals today to get manuals for LAW/Luffy and Corazone because of the guaranteed SA leveling.
3) Do I have the box/stamina to do any other events that may be a better use of my time? Currently, I'm grinding through story mode for the current banner because of the increase legend rates. I have poured of the beginner's guide several times, but these are special circumstances.

You've got some great legends so I think it's better to keep it. Luffy/Law and Sabo/Koala should be your main. Farm skull to evolve V2G4 to Snakeman and you get a amazing legend. Also, Stampede Luffy, V3 Law, Jack, V2 Big Mom, Halloween Ace, V2 Shanks, Tesoro, are all great for different contents. Nami/Robin, Kung-fu Luffy, V2 Rayleigh, Pudding and V2 Akainu have some uses as well.
There is not one-fits-all team in OPTC. You need to tailor your team based on what each quest throws at you.

It has been revamped. Just expect one for logging in and another one for clearing the daily CMs.
There are more easy gems on Extra Island, but those are related to the event, not permanent unfortunately.

Yeah, for now 2 is certain. Then again we often get occasional gems (apologems, downloads, random events)
The Garp Challenges for one will be renewed each month, so if you are a masochist you can do these for extra gems each month /s.
This can add up to 46(?) gems each month.

We get at least double the amount of gems now than we did back when we got three daily gems, so I think it works out well for us.

Hey guys a few questions :
- Is there any way to fix the daily island missing issue?
- Is there any list of required raids/colos and dont farm ones?
- Regarding TM, how much is the max reward for points (not ranking) and how long do you take if you dont have many point boosters? Also how long/how many tms would it take to just LB (lvl 1 potential) for ~40 legends
- Is Kisuna Clash really grindy?
- Do garp challenges still give gems?
- Regarding Support Abilities, Do Differently worded versions of characters mean only specific versions? (Eg : Edward Newgate and Whitebeard)

Yes! You'll eventually get v2 Whitebeard (for example) who gives a better ATK, the lower the hp is.

Luffy/Law, Luffy/Zoro, Sobamask, potential Snakeman, Pudding, Shira/Mansherry, Cracker, Stampede Luffy, Neko/Inu... all amazing legends and I really don't see how a reroll would give you a better start unless you specifically aim for Shanks/Crew. But imo having 4-5 other top legends is more valuable than one Shanks/Crew.

Does anyone have experience with Japan account recovery? I've had du reinstall due to some problems with the 10.1.0 update, But my SNS does not work. Im sure it's the right account it's connected to. So I want to try and ude the account recovery page. But it's a little difficult to understand what I should do. So if anyone have an idea on what to do, I would very much appreciate it.

You can pick one of these:
- G4v2 Luffy
- v1 Nami
- v1 Robin
- v2 Sanji
- v2 Zoro

Hello, I wanted to farm like a madman raid Zoro before the skill up % ends, so today is the day, but I struggle with this raid a lot, can't find a proper team to work. Can someone help me with a team for that? Max difficulty would be optimal, but the medium one can work too if my box sucks for max difficulty.

First, in the Clash Assists pick up & max Monet, she's insane for the Raid Zoro. Will help with the debuffs. Either way, you have tons of good legends that can easily clear it. Sobamask lead with his captain action can kill Tashigi EZPZ, and help go thru the barrier too. Other leads that can trivialize the raid would be Shanks Crew, LL, Bullet. Just use the monet and you should have no issues imo. Good luck!

Thanks! I finally cleared it after putting Nami/Robin on the team for extra hp cut and orb boost. If is useful for someone else, the team is:
O-Soba / O-Soba Buggy and crew (max him so you use his special on stage 3 to avoid problems) / Shanks&Mihawk (didnt use its special, so doesnt need to be maxed) Nami&Robin / Luffy &Law (can be replaced, I think, for some hp cutter)

From that infinite reroll Strawhat Banner, are Gear Four Luffy (it's last evolution is Snakeman) and Germa Kingdom Sanji, are they good things?
Aside from that I managed to pull the Sabo/Koala, Wano Luffy/Zoro, Dogstorm/Cat Viper, Cavendish, Pirate King's Arch Nemsis Garp, Serious Battle Charlotte Katakuri, Germa Kingdom Second Son, Vinsmoke Niji, Strawhat Reunited Luffy, Jack as the five stars from early pulls.. Can anyone tell me how to get the old story mode DEX Brook ?
I've seen his super evolution being used in a lot of Local Sea Monster teams but as an older player (P-Lvl. 414) who must have done stupid things like selling nearly never used silver characters from his box, I've no idea on how to get him again.
Of course I early on completed the Moria arc where you're supposed to get him for clearing so I can't get him again and tried FP recruit but no luck so far.
Any ideas? Maybe I overlooked something in the database?!

I am in search for him too but I think as by this point, the only way is through the FP pool as suggested below. He was probably a reward when you first completed the Moria arc but I cannot remember for sure. He's also available through some extra islands but they are not active for now.
The role of Brook is not non-replaceable in every team (yes in some of them). He delays and locks the orb. You can use the story usopp for delay and still get the boost, and the Megalo ship to lock the orbs. But as I said, you may HAVE to use him in some teams such as those the require other ships or all colour to be present

Current trend for everyone is 5 pulls on part one of the anniversary (Shank's part). If you get shanks crew at any point you might consider stopping. If you dont get them by 5 I'd seriously consider stopping.
Personal circumstance may vary, that should be your default impulse

Stampede Luffy dupes. He is even worth limit breaking/Support? I got a bunch of dupes on the Shanks Banner.
Limit Break: INT damage reduction, Pinch Healing, Slot Bind
INT dmg is meh most of the time
Pinch Healing, low RCV stat
Slot Bind is nice but pretty niche
Support, I think Snakeman would be used over him everytime.

For dupes it kinda depends on the type of units.
Post LLB update (April 2022) at bottom
An update at the end of 2021 changed this a lot, for rrs and f2p just jump to the bottom.
If you can afford it and have the materials for f2p units at least ideally you max one of the unit’s limit break then feed the rest of the dupes to them to level up their special, lb ability, and support (while getting some sockets). Also tm will give you an excessive amount of the unit, once you’ve maxed the trickier things (lb, support, special)you’ll probably have extra copies which you can use for sockets or just rayshop them.
Rrs are basically the same, you’ll probably just have less dupes. I would not personally recommend feeding dupes to rrs that aren’t limit broken and either don’t have a support or have a maxed support. I would not limit break RRs that you haven’t and likely won’t ever use. You can limit break rrs for better stats on support but keep in mind that number will likely only boost the supported stat by maybe another 20 or so points generally at most.Legends however are different, you’ll want up to 3 copies of the same legend, 1 that goes all the way to the 6+, one that is a backup in case the 6+ is a sidegrade. Sidegrade means the 6+ boosts something different from the 6*; examples include v2 law who goes from boosting striker to boosting cerebral, v2 lucci who was good for powerhouse to a shooter booster, and v2g4 who is a rainbow attack booster to snakeman who is a rainbow orb booster. So the second dupe is the one to keep as a 6* if the 6+ is a sidegrade, also keep these dupes in case we don’t know what the 6+ is yet. The last dupe is there in case of cost limited content, keep a copy of unevolved legends because some islands require the entire crew cost to be less than 180 or individual units to cost less than 50 which legends cost too much when evolved. It’s possible that this is being phased out in the future but they still work for older content so I’d still hold on to them for now.
So a quick(ish) summary: for f2p you limit break if possible and feed dupes until all desired things are maxed (limit break, support, special level, and sockets if relevant).
For rrs it is mostly the same as f2p, except you’ll get fewer copies so they’ll take longer, you shouldn’t really bother with units that aren’t strong, unique, or good supports, andif the unit is maxed sell the dupe to the rayshop.For legends you might want 3 copies, one as the legend, one as the legend’s sidegrade 6+ (or a backup for legends without 6+ yet), and one for PvP bait (they have the same abilities but are unevolved so look weaker and have worse stats) or cost limited content (which may not be necessary but I’d recommend keeping for now just in case) .
I have edited this to ideally help formatting so it’s not just a blob of text.
Edit end of 2021: For last tap legends it’s a bit different.
For last tap legends you can feed the dupes whenever, (for all of them but kid, he’s debatably better at LT lv 1 because you can potentially get chain higher than he provides) just make sure to power up their last tap lb ability and get that maxed before focusing on the other lb abilities.
Also some legends can be good as an unevolved dupe for PvP as a way to lure people in even though the PvP abilities are exactly the same when unevolved (super evolutions do change the abilities though), it’s just a matter of stats.
End of 2021 update: the legend stuff holds true but for anybody you’re feeding, just feed them whenever, you no longer need to wait for lb or lb+ as you can upgrade the abilities before lbing so it’s safe to just feed rr and f2p dupes.
LLB update: just feed them for anybody without a sidegrade or waiting on a sidegrade. The unevolved dupe is the lowest priority to the point of not really worth it at all.

can someone who is good at math figure out if this team + soba support can beat the sea monster event?
This is the plan:
Stage 3: carry over qck shanks into stage 4
stage 4: switch shanks, kuro special, buggy switch, buggy special and shanks special. I think this should be enough without even attacking with shanks that way you can preserve the orb. Switch don krieg into gin if its the red version.
Stage 5: usopp special so the soba mask 1.4 atk boost triggers, 1.3 affinity boost from zoro support and 2x orb boost from don krieg.

Red means they have an even shorter charge thanks to limit break and that that is their true max. Not every unit has lb special charge so some will always be yellow while some will become red.

For example, law/luffy is a fighter slasher as a dual but a fighter/free spirit as Luffy and slasher/cerebral as law. So, returning player here. Quit on Bullet debut sugo fest after guving a way a stacked account and rerolled. I just have 2 questions. 1. Is Bullet still relevant? 2. I rerolled and got Shanks Crew, along Bullet and Kaido. If Bullet is still relevant, which situations is it better to use Shanks crew rather than Bullet?(since Bullet is the meta whe I quit so I assume he is still top tier, but I might be wrong)

Bullet is absolutely relevant and will be for a long time. Shanks' Crew is a top-tier unit in the game, even in JP, though and Kaido is the king for speedrunning content.
I'd say you could easily team build around Shanks' Crew, they're a rainbow captain after all, and forget about headaches for a while.

Hey! I'm a returning player and a lot has changed since I last played (around the time Lucy was released) so I have a few questions. I've rerolled a bit so I now have decent account with the new Shanks being my primary captain.
My main crew right now is New Shanks as captain, Legend Franky for damage boost and Lawfy for slot boost. I'm also using Legend Usopp for delay and Sabo/Koala for just being a good unit, though these two I switch out more for specific content. My question is; am I missing any vital part for a "core team" and are there any particular units i should be on the lookout for?
If I'm only going for one ship right now, is Hoe the one to get?
How does support work? How do I unlock support-abilities on my units?
What should I be spending my FP on?

Welcome back to the game!
- As in the past, there is no "main" crew. Having access to Shanks' Crew, Luffy/Law and Sabo/Koala, I'd say you're pretty much set for a long time. As for vital part, going forward, characters such as Vivi/Rebecca and RR Usohachi are going to be staple in most team. There are usually units that can replace them, but it's simply a lot easier if you have them.
- I'd suggest going for the Arlong Ship as it provides a 2x Atk boost that won't decrease and gives a 3x boost to the overall experience gained. This will last until August 21, I think, so you will have plenty of time to eventually grab Hoe later.
- Supports are basically passives. You unlock them (as in you get access to the mechanic) after reaching a certain P.Lvl. To power-up a support ability you either feed the same unit (unevolved or evolved) or use specific items such as Proof Of Friendship.
- I'd suggest spending FPs on evolvers for now since you'll be getting a lot of new characters you need to evolve and stamina is better spent on events rather than evolver islands.

So the Shark Superb has a ridiculous ability, with 2x atk for STR/QCK/DEX captains, and 3x xp and berries. Is this like the anni ships, and the effect will degrade after the event is over, or is it here to stay?
Maybe I've been away for too long and missed ship powercreep, but if it is here to stay, doesn't that make it vastly better than any other ship in the game?
EDIT: Just seen the 'real' ability, I'm guessing while the event is going on it has the permanent 2x and berry/xp boost, but when that ends it slips back to it's normal 2x-1.3x boost and no xp/berries.

I’m a relatively casual player. Doing the buggy crew missions. On the last phase, the enemy has an effect that will not allow you to kill them. What are some characters I can use to clear this effect? On the hardest difficulty the enemy one shots you(or at least me lol) so I’m trying To find a character who can clear this buff. I have the paralyze and special rewind covered. Just don’t know how to deal with that

Resilience is rather easy to deal with.. you can either remove it (look in the database - special filters - enemy resilience reducers) or use any end of turn damage to finish them. If the EoT damage is enough to kill them (because you already brought them down to 1 for example) it will.. a Kaido friend captain works really well for example.

Alright, I went deep for the Shank's Crew (25) multis, and ended up with 22 new legends. I have already max CC'd Shank's Crew, Carrot, Kaido, Wano Law, ShiraSherry, San/Judge, and Luff/Zoro for the Garp Challenges. I have 4 Max ATK and HP CC's left. Who should they go to. I will list them in the order that I am thinking right now.

You can hold onto the CC, but out of all the others I would do V3 Aokiji and Komurasaki (she can get RCV instead)

Should I continue pulling in this sugofest?
I can get another 100 gems before it ends, and I've just finished step 7.
I could hit step 9 for the guaranteed last year unit (missing 60+% of them).
I want an impartial opinion. I've had insanely shitty luck this sugofest, only getting 1 non-guaranteed legend in 7 multis, and i keep pulling lawffy dupes and big mom v1 judge v1 etc dupes. The only decent pull in 7 multis has been carrot.
I'm basically missing every crucial captain like sabola chopper jack kaido luffyzoro stampede luffy osobamask Halloween Ace cracker vivibecca katav2 barto/cav aokiji v2 pudding

How many points (average) do you get from 50 stamina Sea Monster? I can't beat it without Kuro unit consistently, so I beat stamina 40 instead. I make around 500points per run (350-1050 depends on drop). I would like to know how much difference is between these two levels.
My point boost is x11.7.

No direct replacement. Vivi & Rebecca is a good replacement due to the colour infinity in their special. Bobbin can remove DEF up and give 3 matching orbs, but he is not as not damage wise.

Is there any consensus about must have units for PF? As in what dupes we should be holding onto for god knows how long just to get PF level ups? For instance it seems like Big Mom 6+ v1 is quite useful so it would make sense to keep any legend dupes for her.

I have several dupes of dual units (bonclay ivankov, kaku lucci, etc) and already max their LB. Initially I saved the copies to save for their future support abilities but it seems that won't happen. Is it safe to send those copies to rayleigh bazaar?

I am pretty sure that nearly every unit in the game has a support ability on Japan, and so no more support batches are expected to be released. However, no dual units have a support, so I would call it safe to sack the dupes.
I'm a global player though so maybe wait for more confirmation.

Where is my Makino Support? A: It will be given out after the French Anni Sugo ends.
Which Gem Ships should I buy? A: Shark Superb since it is boosted. Outside of that, the priority is generally Hoe > Zunesha > Megalo > Shark Superb > Germa > Koi.
Which legend should I choose from the CYO? A: In order I would pick Luffy > Nami > Robin > Zoro/Sanji.
