Neptune, Uranus and Pluton are the 3 weapons Gorosei is called 5 elder stars bcs they were the ones humanity could observe Before the invention of modern telescopes, thats why the name, so even if we has the moon now, I don't think we will get anothers, will break the theme

I mean... the living ones are, legitimately, the original 5. I don't know for sure if Oda planned this from the beginning, but he definitely planned this joke from the moment he introduced Garling. Maybe his editor noticed that the names were 1 off, and that gave Oda the idea?

Either way, I swear to god, it's actually intentional. This is a legitimate shout-out.
