when Vegapunk said this, I thought "aren't fishmens stupid" and then looked back at 1115 and saw the big-ass sea monsters in the ruins and understood lmao

Thinking about it does this mean the sea kings purposefully guard these ruins and maybe they have a reason to attack ships crossing the Calm Belt?

Which means shirahoshi should be able to command them to give access to the ruins. Which makes sense as to why she is a deadly weapon to the WG

Beyond that, being able to control an army of gigantic beasts at will is also considered a deadly weapon.

Also she can probably use the sea kings to lift up massive things from under neath
